About Artisans of the World:

Artisans of the World is located in the scenic Eastern Shore region of Maryland along an estuary of the Chesapeake Bay. The late 19th century building that houses the shop, located in the historic district of St. Michaels, reflects the casual but chic ambiance of this cosmopolitan, boating, resort town!

The product mix selected by your hosts Dennis & Connie Stachelek parallel the town's rich and varied flavor! Most are unique, one of a kind, works of art gathered from around the World!

Polish Pottery, German Pewter, Brazilian Gemstone Sculptures, Czech Glass Vases, and hand carved White Cedar Tibetan Baskets are just some of the International treasures you can explore. Closer to home are eclectic examples of Eastern Shore Driftwood and Oyster Shell Paintings, Hand Carved Decoys and Shore Birds, Polymer Clay Bowls and a variety of Domestic Pottery.
